In vibrant Barcelona there's no time to get bored because there are world-class events all year round for all ages and tastes. 2024 has lined up a packed calendar of concerts, major sporting events, festivals, exhibitions, traditional festivals and much, much more. Find out what's on month by month and get the most out of your break.
Special anniversaries 2024
2024 will be full of anniversaries. Throughout the year, the city will be paying tribute to Antoni Tàpies on the centenary of his death. The city's design museum, the Museu del Disseny, will be celebrating its first decade. The centre for contemporary culture, the CCCB, will be turning 30 and the concert hall, L'Auditori, and the botanical garden, the Jardí Botànic, 25. This year will be a true milestone in the history of the Real Club de Tenis de Barcelona and Fútbol Club Barcelona as they celebrate an impressive 125 years of sporting achievements. And it will also be the bicentenary of the city's most majestic boulevard, Passeig de Gràcia. Make sure you congratulate them!

Miró-Picasso
