La Pedrera hosts the first major monographic exhibition in Barcelona dedicated exclusively to the Nabis movement, an exceptional project organised with the support of the prestigious Musée d'Orsay. Active between 1888 and 1900, the Nabis shared a desire to restore painting's decorative character and to blur the boundaries between art and life. Through a carefully curated selection of works by key figures such as Pierre Bonnard and Édouard Vuillard, the exhibition reveals the aesthetic and conceptual richness of a group that played a fundamental role in the transition between Impressionism and the early avant-gardes. The exhibition invites visitors to discover a visual language based on colour, form and rhythm, where painting, decorative arts and architecture engage in constant dialogue, anticipating new ways of understanding modernity in harmony with the building's modernist spirit.
